Aamir Stations LLC
Assets
Seven company-owned and operated convenience stores located in western Washington State, each of which sold fuel under the BP or Chevron banners.
Engagement
Aamir Stations enlisted assistance of NRC to market its convenience store assets. Specifically, the company wanted to retain the ownership of the underlying real estate at the assets and sell the business and lease the real estate to the buyer under long-term triple net leases. The company’s desired structure for the sale made the process much more difficult, and also resulted in a smaller group of potential purchasers than would normally be the case. NRC prepared a comprehensive offering memorandum that described the transaction, as well as assisted in the preparation of purchase agreement and lease documents, and managed a three-round sale process. 7-Eleven, Inc., based in Irving, Texas, emerged as the winning bidder at the conclusion of the process.
