Assets

21 company-operated convenience stores located in southern Michigan, all of which had fuel offerings, as well as a wholesale fuel business. Additional assets in the transaction included a car wash, development properties, a closed convenience store and two office buildings.

Engagement

NRC was engaged by the company to sell both its convenience store assets as well as its wholesale fuel and related businesses and other assets. NRC developed a list of prospective purchasers approved by the company who were contacted in order to determine their interest in the transaction. Majors Management, LLC, based in Lawrenceville, Georgia, was the successful bidder and the transaction closed in a reasonably short period of time.
